Tuesday Evening, June 16th - Foundations Used Book Sale

Do you have some gently used curriculum that you no longer need?  Are you looking to compare math programs and need a place to examine and handle several options you are considering?  Or have you already decided what you need for your children next year and are looking to find it at a bargain price?  Come and join us Tuesday, June 16th in the Fellowship Hall of Briarwood for Foundations' Used Book Sale!

Sell...Look...Shop til your heart's content!

6:00 - 9:00 Book Sale

 

Mark the date, call your friends, and join us for some fellowship!

 

Participants in Foundations used book and curriculum sale - please read these guidelines:
 
1.  For each book or curriculum to sell, write your name, phone number, title of item, and price on an envelope.  Put the envelope in the inside cover of each book, having the top (short side) of the envelope visible with the price, so it is easy for others to see the price without having to open up the item.  You may tape the envelope onto non-book items or onto the front cover of items that would not be damaged with tape.
 
2.  Sort your books prior to arrival, according to the following categories:
 
General Homeschool Help books
Hands-On Learning/ Educational Items
Family worship/ Discipleship/ Bible
Grammar
Spelling
Reading and Phonics
Literature
History and Geography
Math
Science
Foreign Languages
School Aids/ Supplies (new or nearly new)
Freebies (books, curriculum, CDs, etc. in good condition that you would like to give away)
Preschool (books, curriculum, etc. for under age 5)
 
3.  Beginning at 5:00, set up your items for sale according to the posted signs.  The sale starts at 6:00.
 
4.  To purchase items, place your exact change or check (made out to the seller) in the envelope.  Bring small bills, since we will not be able to make change for you.  Place the envelopes in the card file box on the checkout table, according to the seller's last name.
 
5. Please take unsold items and money at 9:00.
